Welcome to the West
Irondequoit Student Services and Special Education District Office.
Our District Student Service Team is led by our 7-12 Director of
Student Services, Ms. Amy Donk and K-6 Director of
Student Services, Mrs. Joanna Rowe. We have the privilege of
providing special education services and related services to all
West Irondequoit students’ who qualify for these supports.
The district staff providing these services include special education
teachers, teacher of the deaf and hearing impaired, teacher of the blind and visually impaired, occupational and
physical therapists, psychologists, counselors, social workers,
speech & language therapists, tutors, physicians, nurses and
nurse-teachers and paraprofessionals. We look forward to
partnering with parents to meet the needs of their children.
Our office is
located in the Dake Jr. High School building, 350 Cooper Rd. Most initial CSE meetings are held in our District Student Services
Office at Dake. Please come in through the main door and you will
be directed to our offices in the lower level at the North end of
the building.
In addition to Ms. Donk and Mrs. Rowe, the following staff are
located at our District Student Services Office and can help you
with a wide array of needs.
