K-12 Intensive Tutoring

K-12 INTENSIVE TUTORING

West Irondequoit will utilize some of the federal stimulus funds received to support a K-12 Intensive Tutoring program. The chart below provides an explanation of what the potential opportunities will be at your child’s grade. Please note, some of these opportunities will be dependent on grade-level appropriateness, and available staffing.

1:1 or Small Group Tutoring
Students will be identified to qualify for this 1:1 or small-group tutoring through building processes. Students will be notified directly by their building if they quality for this level of tutoring.
Tutoring will be delivered by a district staff member. Sessions may be virtual or in-person.

 7-12
    Drop-In Sessions or Office Hours
Students may drop in to receive additional support in core content areas. This will be on-demand support, as needed and not instruction tailored for each individual student.   Schedules will differ by building.  Look for opportunities released by your child’s building.

For participation in any of the above opportunities, please review the expectations so that we may best support your child.
