Comments about the vote:

Superintendent, Dr. Aaron Johnson:
"I want to thank the community members and residents who came out to vote. That was very powerful," he said about the results. "I think that's a reflection of the staff in our classroom and our buildings everyday working with our students, the quality of the programming that we offer our kids and the community, the relationships that we have, our administrative support and all the work that they do around the problem-solving ... and the (support) of our Board of Education."

Johnson also thanked former Superintendent, Mr. Jeff Crane, who retired in December, and interim Superintendent, Dr. Jon Hunter, who served from Jan. 1 to March 3, for starting the budget process. He also lauded Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Tim Terranova, and Director of Finance, James Brennan.

Board of Education president, John Vay: "Thank you to our community members who continue to support the great education that happens in this District every single day."
