Faculty and staff personal devices such as smart phones may log on to the WI-Staff network using their standard WICSD login and password. District guests, short-term personnel and community members may use the WI-Community network. Username for this network is “WIGU,” and the password for this network is changed monthly. The monthly password is available from building clerical staff as well as the IT help desk for dissemination as needed. After 3 p.m., the WI-Community network is accessible with the login wicsd and password goeagles.
Student personal devices are usable on the WI-Guest network after 3 p.m. Students may log on to this network using their standard WICSD login and password.
Please note that in all cases, WICSD implements an Internet monitoring, filtering and tracking system for all network users. Responsible use expectations consistent with the Acceptable Use Policy and Student Code of Conduct remain in effect.
iOS Configuration
iOS Devices must be on the latest full release of iOS software to connect. A security certificate must be accepted prior to logging on.
Android Configuration
Android devices must be configured for WPA2 Enterprise Wi-Fi Security:
- EAP Method: PEAP
- Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2
